Position Summary Information

Position Summary

This position will assist the Office of Institutional Research with acquiring, compiling and graphically displaying data. A variety of special projects related to this goal, including but not limited to: transforming raw data into meaningful information, validating previous reports, designing and preparing current new reports, and discussing with stakeholders the needs of their departments.

Essential Responsibilities

This position will assist the Office of Institutional Research with acquiring, compiling and graphically displaying data. A variety of special projects related to this goal, including but not limited to: transforming raw data into meaningful information, validating previous reports, designing and preparing current new reports, and discussing with stakeholders the needs of their departments.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Drafting 1-Page Executive Summaries for review by Managers throughout the Organization.
  • Drafting Resource Guides and step by step guides for Business Process.
  • Researching Benchmarks and Best Practices from State, Federal, and Regional Organizations.
  • Explaining definitions, computations, and exclusions of calculations simply and concisely.
  • Inputting data, reconciling reports, and creating charts and graphs.
  • Assisting with mailings and preparation of documents and reports.
  • Filing, copying, errands, and other office tasks.
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times towards co-workers, internal and external customers, representing Keuka College, its programs, policies and procedures in a positive and professional manner. Maintain effective working relationships to ensure institution-wide teamwork.
  • Attend provided/necessary trainings and other meetings to support effectiveness within the position as required.
  • Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Keuka College mission, vision and values and adhering to institutional policies.
  • Maintain high regard for student privacy in accordance with the FERPA privacy policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
  1. Eligible for a Federal Work-Study or Keuka Work-Study Award.
  2. A Keuka College student in the traditional undergraduate on-campus program.
  3. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  4. Candidate must be technology proficient.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products, specifically Excel.
  6. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  7. Understand and behave with a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality at all times.
  8. Ability to be sensitive to and respond to needs/concerns of students, faculty, college staff and the public.
  9. Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
