Job Summary

Keuka College seeks adjunct instructors to teach in their Master of Social Work program in the Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP). Instructors are needed at our main campus and branch locations in Corning and Victor to teach during the day and evening hours.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus
  • Follow outline provided, to assure course content and objectives are met
  • Design, administer, and grade course assignments to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus
  • Plan effectively for classes and student success
  • Serve as a second reader for student’s Capstone Thesis
  • Actively engage students in the learning process
  • Work with the Program Director to ensure instructional quality and program quality
  • Contribute to program development through collaborative participation in curriculum design and review, promotion of collaborative partnerships, and engage with faculty, adjuncts, and/or students in joint projects.
  • Adhere to College policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications


  1. Masters of Social Work Degree Required
  2. LCSW or LCSW-R Required
  3. Terminal Degree Preferred
